The team has been picked for the Pan American Championships and Olympic Zone Cup in Miami, Fla. on May 8-11. This event is a prelude to the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Judo on June 13-14 in Las Vegas and will be the center for fierce competition as athletes from 42 countries compete for a chance to qualify for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. The U.S. Team chosen is as follows:
