Episode 23 - Sell the Osoto Attack to Sasae
We can’t emphasize enough the importance of ’selling’ your throw; that is to go for a throw all out, and make your opponent believe he or she is being thrown with that throw…. then, as they move to defend, use that motion to attack with a different throw.
Sensei White shows how to do this with Osoto-gari into a devastating Sasae attack.

Episode 22 - Makikomi and Variations
Sensei White shows his version of the Makikomi where he explains the grip position on lower arm rather than near the shoulder. He also shows how to use your momentum to torque your opponent into the throw with force.
Sensei White also demonstrates a couple variations of the Makikomi throw against opponents who attempt a Te Guruma counter or try to stop the Maki throw by pushing their hips out.
This throw was used by Sensei White in the 1992 Olympic Games to defeat the world champion Stephane Traineau in an amazing third-round match.
