The Judo Podcast started in the Spring of 2006, by Mike Darter, from Oklahoma City (Oklahoma City Defensive Tactics, Inc.) and Gene Shin, from Charlottesville, VA (Ssal Shin Jo Judo). Mike and Gene have been playing judo for almost 60 years combined and are great supporters of the sport.

This is one of the best resources on the web for Judo articles and news, The Judo Podcast is a great website to visit. The site also includes many judo podcasts with some of judo’s best coaches and players. I recently visited the site and saw a great podcast with Pat Burris, the 1974 Judo Player of the Year. Other podcasts include interviews with Jimmy Pedro, Nicholas Gill and Jiu Jitsu champion Rafael Lovato, Jr..

Also be sure to check out Mike and Gene’s judo coaching section also for some great articles and videos. Keep this site bookmarked because there are new articles and podcass published often and you don’t want to miss this great judo resource!
