Shodan ( 1st degree black belt )

Born in Venezuela in 1974, started doing Judo at the Central University of Venezuela Judo Club at the age of 11 in 1985.

That same year I went to the National Championship and won a Bronze Medal (3rd place).

Two years after that, I went to my 2nd National Championship and won Bronze Medal again.

I stayed active in Judo for 14 years winning many Regional Tournaments and then I slowed down to finish my BS in Chemistry from College at the Central University of Venezuela.

I coached the Judo Children’s team in my home club for a year between 1997 and 1998 achieving several regional and national gold medals in Venezuela.

I came to the USA in the year 2000 and got a job at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia where I worked for seven years. Due to a lack of Dojos in that area I started doing different sports such as caving and climbing rock walls.

In 2005 I married Megan and in 2007 finally moved to Atlanta. After few months and a quick search I found the Waka Mu Sha Judo Club, where I have been doing Judo for over a year with Sensei Leo White as a friend and coach.

I am also coaching the Children’s team at Waka Mu Sha, assisting Sensei Nick Goodly.
I am back after seven long years and getting in shape for some action in 2009.
