Diretto da Ippei Kuri nel 1969 ,racconta le vicende di Sanshiro Kurenai , un giovane che , trovando accanto al cadavere del padre assassinato(un valente maestro di Judo ),un occhio di vetro,decide di andare alla ricerca del misterioso assassino con un occhio solo, per farsi giustizia.Viene accompagnato nella ricerca dal giovane ken e dal suo cane Bobo. La serie si compone di 26 episodi . La canzone della sigla è interpretata da Mario Balducci ,con lo pseudonimo di ” Judo Boy ” ed i ” Piccoli cantori di Nini Comolli “, su musica di Detto Mariano e testo di Andrea Lo Vecchio .E’ disponibile in dvd ad opera della ” Mondo Home Entertainment “.
